The Sharjah Municipality announced that its call center received 522 reports related to rainwater accumulation and 7 reports concerning fallen trees, following the activation of maximum preparedness measures during the recent weather system affecting the emirate and the UAE.
The municipality stated that the call center operated around the clock, promptly directing all reports to the relevant field teams for immediate action.
Additionally, the municipality set up dedicated lines to receive reports from the Sharjah Police General Command regarding water accumulation, along with direct communication channels to field teams, significantly enhancing response efficiency.
Sharjah Municipality emphasized its full readiness to manage any emergency situations, ensuring public safety and the continuous provision of municipal services at the highest level.
