Najran Municipality has announced that the total value of ongoing and completed flood drainage and infrastructure improvement projects in the region has reached approximately 711.16 million SAR, covering 25 projects.
The municipality confirmed that these initiatives are part of a comprehensive plan to develop infrastructure, enhance road networks, and improve the city's readiness to address environmental and service challenges.
Currently, 14 development projects are underway, with a total investment exceeding 599 million SAR, focusing primarily on flood drainage due to their direct impact on public safety, infrastructure efficiency, and quality of life.
During an inspection tour with the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Majid Al-Huqail, Najran Municipality Mayor Eng. Saleh Al-Ghamdi highlighted that 11 projects in drainage, roads, and municipal facilities have been completed, costing around 111.43 million SAR. He emphasized that these projects have contributed to improving urban aesthetics and enhancing municipal services for residents.
Al-Ghamdi added that continuous monitoring ensures projects are completed on schedule and meet the highest quality standards, in close coordination with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and relevant authorities, promoting sustainable urban development and addressing the needs of Najran residents.
