The Syrian Ministry of Interior successfully intercepted a large-scale smuggling attempt involving approximately 26,000 Captagon pills destined for Saudi Arabia, following precise field tracking and continuous intelligence monitoring.

Authorities revealed that the seized pills were discovered inside a bus garage in Hama, meticulously concealed within a metal bed and camouflaged with a wooden cover, demonstrating a sophisticated level of smuggling tactics.

The ministry confirmed that security forces displayed high readiness and efficiency in detecting and preventing drug trafficking operations, despite increasingly advanced concealment methods used by criminal networks.

The Syrian Ministry of Interior emphasized that all necessary legal actions have been taken, including confiscation of the seized materials, with investigations ongoing to identify and prosecute all individuals involved.
