Football fans across Africa and the Arab world are searching for free-to-air channels broadcasting the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, as the tournament kicks off in Morocco with strong anticipation surrounding Egypt’s national team.
AFCON 2025 will feature 24 teams and will take place from December 22 to January 18. Egypt has been drawn into Group B alongside South Africa, Angola, and Zimbabwe, facing a challenging group stage campaign.
The Pharaohs will begin their tournament against Zimbabwe on December 22, followed by matches against South Africa on December 26 and Angola on December 29.
Broadcasting rights for the tournament are held exclusively by beIN Sports through its encrypted channels. However, Algerian state television announced that it has secured the rights to broadcast 15 matches free-to-air, including selected Egypt national team games and key knockout stage fixtures.
This announcement provides fans with an opportunity to watch several AFCON 2025 matches without a paid subscription via satellite transmission.
