African football fans are eagerly awaiting the opening ceremony of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which officially kicks off today in Morocco with the participation of 24 national teams.
The tournament begins with the host nation Morocco facing Comoros at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, marking the start of the continental competition.
The opening ceremony is expected to feature a series of cultural and artistic performances highlighting Morocco’s heritage, along with a celebration of Africa’s rich history and diversity.
The ceremony will start at 6:30 PM Morocco time, 7:30 PM Egypt time, 8:30 PM Saudi Arabia time, and 9:30 PM UAE time.
The AFCON 2025 opening ceremony will be broadcast live on beIN Sports MAX 1 and Morocco’s national sports channel Arryadia TNT3.
