Yemeni President Rashad Al-Alimi has issued an official directive demanding the complete withdrawal of UAE forces from all Yemeni territories within a 24-hour timeframe, marking a critical turning point in the ongoing conflict. The decision was announced during a presidential address, in which Al-Alimi emphasized the need to restore full national sovereignty and reorganize the security landscape across the country.
The announcement also included the implementation of a 72-hour nationwide shutdown covering air, land, and sea ports to ensure full compliance with the withdrawal order and to regulate all movement across Yemeni borders.
In addition, a 90-day state of emergency has been declared, with Yemeni security and military institutions instructed to maintain stability and enforce the resolutions. No official response has yet been issued by the UAE, while regional observers continue to monitor the potential implications of the decision and its impact on the balance of power within Yemen in the coming days.
